Valspar

Aged Pine

6011-5

Aged Pine is a very dark forest green with a blackened olive base. It needs deliberate lighting. LRV 4 makes it one of the darkest colors in this batch, so reserve it for cabinetry, doors, built-ins, or a dramatic powder room.

A glossy or satin finish will reveal more depth than flat paint. Use a warm white for trim, then add brass or pale marble. On exteriors, it reads classic and substantial.

Aged Pine in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
