About Elizabeth

I'm Elizabeth, the person behind Paint Color Consultants. My work grew from a lifelong interest in paint colors and interior design, and travel remains an important source of ideas for me.

A Providence Kid at Heart

I grew up in Providence, Rhode Island, a mid-sized city rich in culture and history. Its varied neighborhoods helped form my interest in color and design.

An Early Interest in Design

As a child, I rearranged furniture and suggested color schemes for our living room. That early curiosity grew into a full-time focus on paint and interior design.

Travel and Design

I also love to travel, and the UK holds a special place in my heart. I pay attention to the colors and shapes in its buildings and landscapes, then bring those observations back to my design work.

A Harry Potter Fan

I'm a Harry Potter fan, and visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was a personal highlight. Experiences like that keep me looking closely at how color and design shape a place.

From Blog to Full Service (2025 and beyond)

In 2025, Paint Color Consultants expanded from a personal blog into a service and resource for homeowners, design enthusiasts, and professionals. Our small team has built:

• A comprehensive color database with thousands of paint shades and details.
• Several free online tools to help you explore, compare, and choose colors.
• A growing directory of specialists where you can connect with trusted professionals in design and painting.
• Partnerships with influencers in the design world, bringing fresh perspectives, tutorials, and inspiration.

Our goal is to make paint selection and design decisions easier to manage.
