Glidden

Zombie

PPG1010-7

Zombie is a dark neutral charcoal with a faint cool blue cast. Charcoal depth needs sheen nearby. The color can ground interior doors, built-ins, or exterior shutters without reading as pure black.

Whole walls need lamps and lighter furnishings to avoid feeling closed in. Set it against a warm white, concrete, or pale oak. A satin finish is practical for trim and cabinetry because flat dark paint marks easily.

Zombie in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
