Valspar

Very Black

5011-2

Very Black is a soft black with a faint blue-gray lean rather than a brown undertone. It is truly dark. Use it on doors, railings, cabinets, or exterior accents where a clean black is needed.

At LRV 3, it will absorb almost all light, so sheen and surface prep matter. Pair with warm white walls, stone, or brass. On broad matte walls, every scuff will show.

Very Black in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
