Glidden

Heart's Desire

PPG1183-7

Use it selectively. Heart's Desire is a deep raspberry-red with a purple cast and plenty of saturation. It belongs in small, intentional places such as a powder bath, lacquered cabinet, or front door.

The color commands attention. A creamy white on trim prevents the raspberry from feeling sharp. Because it is deep, large flat walls may show marks more easily in busy rooms.

Heart's Desire in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
