Valspar

Cosmic Berry

4001-10C

Cosmic Berry is a dark purple with a berry-red undertone. It is bold in a compact, shadowy way. Use it for a powder room, painted furniture, or a dramatic closet rather than a casual whole-house color.

The low value needs lamps and pale contrast. Cream trim will warm it. Crisp white makes it sharper. If nearby finishes are beige, sample carefully so the purple does not turn muddy.

Cosmic Berry in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
