Tropical Nut

2003-5A

Tropical Nut is a dark roasted clay brown with a red-orange undertone. The name sounds sweeter. It can ground a front door, stair rail, study wall, or lower cabinets in a warm kitchen.

Around LRV 13, it will not bounce much light back into the room. Use cream plaster, black hardware, or medium oak rather than cool gray flooring.

Tropical Nut in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
