Fire Agate

T503

Fire Agate is a dark oxblood red with a browned berry undertone. The browned oxblood base wants sheen, not a chalky flat finish. Place it on a front door, cabinet piece, or paneled bar when red needs depth instead of brightness.

The low lightness means it will absorb a lot of daylight. Set it beside cream trim or aged brass. In matte paint, scuffs can show quickly. A smoother sheen is smarter for handled surfaces.

Fire Agate in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
