Valspar

Voluptuous

M123

Voluptuous is a near-black burgundy brown, more wine stain than bright red. The near-black value makes the wine undertone surface only under good light. Use it where deep color can be controlled, such as a powder room, lacquered vanity, front door, or study trim.

At LRV 5, it needs sheen or strong light to show its red undertone. Pair with cream, marble, or aged brass. Matte walls will feel very heavy.

Voluptuous in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
