Valspar

Sly Fox

V045-6

Sly Fox is a dark rust-brown with a strong orange-red base. The dark rust base brings real heat to doors and vanities. The color can make a handsome front door, powder room vanity, or fireplace surround when balanced with light surfaces.

On every wall, it will feel heavy unless the room has good lamps. Cream trim works better than stark white for a softer contrast. Orange oak needs testing so the tones stay separated.

Sly Fox in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
