Benjamin Moore

Travers Red

CW-345

Travers Red (BM) is a deep, warm red with burgundy character and brown undertones that keep it from reading as a pure primary red. At a Light Reflectance Value of 13.92, it absorbs most ambient light and will significantly darken a room, producing a dense, saturated effect on walls. The brown undertone grounds the hue and reduces any pink or orange lean.

It pairs with Benjamin Moore's Grant Beige and Cream Fleece as warm, softening neutrals, Van Deusen Blue and Aegean Teal for cool-toned contrast, and Simply White for a clean trim.

Travers Red in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
