Standing Still

2008-7B

Standing Still is a deep burnt sienna with a warm brown-orange undertone. The burnt sienna base reads strongest beside pale walls. Use it for shutters, doors, built-ins, or a compact dining room where earthy color belongs.

At LRV 15, it needs lighter surfaces nearby. Warm lamps bring out the leather tone. Cream trim calms it. Avoid covering a dark hallway unless extra lighting is planned.

Standing Still in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
