Valspar

Nuts and Bolts

V136-5

Nuts and Bolts is a medium-dark cool gray with a slight blue cast. The blue cast makes it useful on cabinets that need definition. Use it on cabinets or an office wall when the room needs structure without black.

LRV 21 gives it weight, so balance it with pale surfaces. Brushed nickel will emphasize the coolness. Warm oak can make the gray look bluer by contrast. That extra weight matters.

Nuts and Bolts in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
