Behr

Encore

MQ5-11

Encore is a restrained slate blue-gray at medium depth. It suits offices, bedroom accent walls, and built-ins when navy would feel too heavy. Gray keeps the color quiet.

Surround it with warm white trim, leather, or oak shelving. In north-leaning daylight, the blue becomes more apparent. Under soft bulbs, the color softens toward charcoal. If existing finishes include gray flooring, add wood or fabric for warmth.

Encore in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
