Valspar

Home Brew

8002-24C

Home Brew is a light golden tan with a honey-wheat cast. The honey-wheat undertone gives dining rooms warmth without the weight of caramel. Dining rooms and dens benefit when beige lacks warmth.

On larger walls, it will read clearly yellow-gold, not neutral cream. Pair with warm white trim or dark green accents. In lower light, it becomes cozier and more subdued. Sample near oak floors so the undertones do not stack too heavily.

Home Brew in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
