Gervase Yellow

No. 72

Gervase Yellow is a warm yellow with earthy undertones that pull it toward ochre rather than bright lemon. At an LRV of 79.4, it reflects a good deal of light and can make smaller rooms feel more open, though it will read stronger on a full wall in direct sunlight. It works well in kitchens, hallways, and garden-facing rooms where a warm tone is practical without being heavy.

Pointing and White Tie are straightforward trim partners, and it can be used alongside Archive and Hay for tonal warmth, or paired with Hague Blue for a sharper contrast.

Gervase Yellow in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
