Valspar

Blindfold

4007-2C

Blindfold is blue-charcoal pushed near black by a cool mineral undertone. It feels firm. Use it on interior doors, exterior trim, or built-ins when true black seems too stark.

LRV 7 keeps it in the near-black range, so give it light surfaces nearby. Clean white trim makes the blue-gray cast easier to see. A satin finish helps the color avoid looking flat.

Blindfold in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
