Valspar

Beacon

8001-26A

Beacon is a bright creamy yellow with a soft straw undertone. It bounces light. It brings warmth to kitchens, breakfast nooks, or halls that feel too gray.

Wall-to-wall, it may read more yellow than the chip suggests, so sample in several spots. Warm off-white trim and natural wood work. Black accents add structure. Cool marble may sharpen the yellow base.

Beacon in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
