Sherwin Williams

Greenblack

SW 6994

Greenblack is a deep, nearly black neutral with a subtle green undertone, carrying an LRV of just 4. In most lighting conditions it reads as a rich charcoal-black, with the green cast becoming apparent mainly in strong daylight or against warm-toned surfaces. It works well for exterior trim, front doors, accent walls, and built-in cabinetry.

Pair it with Sherwin-Williams Extra White, Repose Gray, Alabaster, and Agreeable Gray for clean contrast, or with Pewter Green for a tonal dark-on-dark composition.

Greenblack in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
