Glidden

Precipitation

PPG0997-4

Precipitation is a soft neutral gray with a slight warm-green lean. Think damp sidewalk. The color can help steady a hallway, office, or bedroom with mixed finishes.

On walls, Precipitation should read more muted than silver. Pair Precipitation with black frames, pale oak, or off-white trim. Very cool LEDs can make it look flatter. Sample near flooring, because tan carpet may pull the green-beige side forward.

Precipitation in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
