Glidden

North Sea

PPG1239-6

North Sea is a strong blue that leans slightly teal, closer to deep water than navy. The green note keeps it lively. It works best in controlled doses: a front door, island base, or bath cabinet.

Larger rooms need enough daylight to keep the color open. White trim will make it crisp. Natural rattan or sandy tile keeps it from feeling too sharp.

North Sea in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
