Benjamin Moore

Windsor Green

CW-505

Windsor Green (Benjamin Moore, Williamsburg Collection) is a deep, dark green formulated historically from Prussian blue, yellow ochre, and lamp black pigments, giving it complex blue-yellow undertones beneath its dominant green appearance. With an LRV of 8.84, it is a very low-reflectance color that absorbs most ambient light and reads as near-dark in dimly lit conditions. The Prussian blue component adds a cool depth that prevents the color from appearing purely warm.

Recommended same-brand pairings include White Dove, Simply White, Hale Navy, Kendall Charcoal, and soft muted yellows for historical or tonal schemes.

Windsor Green in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
