Japanese Seaweed

V143-6

Japanese Seaweed is a near-black olive with a smoky brown cast. The chip undersells its depth. Library shelves, exterior trim, and interior doors can carry the grounded note.

Dim corners may turn it charcoal. Add pale walls or natural oak so the green does not disappear. For cabinets, choose satin or semi-gloss because flat dark paint marks easily.

Japanese Seaweed in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
