Maid of the Mist

CC-728 / 465

Maid of the Mist is a quiet sage-green gray with an LRV of 53.75, placing it in the middle of the reflectance spectrum. Gray undertones are prominent and keep the green restrained, producing a muted, low-saturation finish that shifts between distinctly green and nearly neutral depending on the light source. North-facing rooms tend to emphasize the gray, while warmer light coaxes out more of the green.

It blends well with Beach Glass or Pale Smoke for tonal continuity, and takes on useful structure alongside Chelsea Gray or Hale Navy as contrasting accents.

Maid of the Mist in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
