Benjamin Moore

Magenta

2077-10

Magenta is a deep, cool-toned red-violet with an LRV of 10.05, placing it firmly in the low-reflectance category. Red and violet pigments share the balance roughly evenly, though in lower light the violet side tends to advance, giving the color a noticeably plum-like appearance. High-pigment density means additional coats are often needed for even coverage.

It works well alongside Hale Navy or Salamander for layered depth, and benefits from the brightness of Chantilly Lace or the slight warmth of Classic Gray on adjacent trim and ceilings.
