Valspar

Rustic Oak

2007-7B

Valspar Rustic Oak is a medium caramel brown with a clear golden-orange undertone. Think worn oak, not espresso. It can warm up a study, mudroom, or built-in cabinet without going too dark.

In sunny rooms, the golden side becomes stronger. Use it with ivory trim, green-gray walls, or oil-rubbed bronze. If the floors are already very orange, test carefully to avoid a wall-and-floor match that feels dated.

Rustic Oak in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
