Haute Hickory

8004-17F

Haute Hickory is a deep warm brown with a leather-tan undertone. The leather-brown undertone gives stair rails and den cabinetry a warm, weighty finish. Use it where the goal is warmth and weight, such as a den wall, stair rail, or cabinet base.

In low light, it moves closer to chocolate. Daylight shows more of the tan. Pair with cream plaster or black iron. If the floor already has strong orange tones, test a large sample before repeating that warmth.

Haute Hickory in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
