Valspar

Gentility

T516

Gentility is a soft tan with a peach-brown undertone. It feels warm and polished. The color can flatter dining rooms, guest bedrooms, or hallway walls that need more body than cream.

It pairs naturally with medium wood and antique brass. In bright light, the peach side becomes clearer. Use a larger sample near beige carpet, because similar warmth can double up quickly. Cream trim usually feels steadier than stark white.

Gentility in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
