Glidden

Stormy Ridge

PPG1159-5

For a media room, Stormy Ridge is a medium blue with a gray-green undertone, deeper than a typical coastal blue. It has backbone. Reserve it for cabinets, a study wall, or an exterior accent when navy feels too formal.

The LRV of 46 gives it useful weight without making it dark. Keep the mix to warm white, leather, or aged brass. In shaded rooms, it can move toward slate.

Stormy Ridge in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
