Lyric Blue

HDC-AC-24

Lyric Blue is a muted slate blue with enough gray to keep it restrained. It is not beachy. Good rooms include offices, bedrooms, or built-ins when navy feels too dark and pale blue feels too delicate.

At LRV 52, it reads medium on walls, especially in rooms without much daylight. Ground it with warm white trim, saddle leather, and dark wood. Very cool LED bulbs can make the blue feel steely.

Lyric Blue in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
