Dark Truffle

PPU5-19

Dark Truffle by Behr blends brown and charcoal undertones, reading as a warm dark gray with visible earthiness. At an LRV of 31, it absorbs most ambient light and functions as a dark accent tone rather than a whole-room color. The brown undertone gives it warmth relative to pure charcoal grays, while the gray base prevents it from appearing overly rustic.

It suits accent walls, lower cabinetry, and exterior doors. Dark Truffle pairs with Behr Swiss Coffee for contrast, Creamy Mushroom for a warm bridge, Blueprint for a cool accent, Doeskin Gray for lighter greige, and Pale Oak for trim.

Dark Truffle in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
