Hearts Afire

P078

Hearts Afire is a deep coral-red with a softened brick undertone. It has fire, but it is not candy red. Use it on a front door, powder bath vanity, or a small accent wall where warmth is intentional.

LRV 29 keeps it deep, so it will not behave like a bright pink. Cream trim calms it. Black hardware adds structure. Test near stone, because beige tile can pull out the orange side.

Hearts Afire in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.

LRV measures how much light a color reflects, from 0 (black) to 100 (pure white). Below about 50 a color needs good lighting to avoid going flat, 60 and up helps brighten a room, and most whites sit above 80.
