Valspar

Grizzly

8003-17E

Grizzly is a warm medium brown with an orange leather undertone. The leather-orange base gives it enough warmth for dens and cabinet bases. The color can bring weight to a den, lower cabinets, or an exterior accent.

On large walls, it reads more cinnamon-tan than chocolate. Use it with cream trim and dark hardware for a grounded palette. Cool stone can balance the warmth. If the room already has orange oak, sample carefully before adding this much similar undertone.

Grizzly in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
