Coffee Gelato

2004-7C

Coffee Gelato lands as a medium taupe with a caramel-brown undertone. It is stronger than a simple beige and more relaxed than rust. A den, bedroom, or lower cabinets can carry it when the room needs warmth and weight.

In shaded areas, the brown will deepen. Use cream trim, pale stone, or black hardware for contrast. If the house has lots of honey oak, sample carefully so the palette does not become too amber.

Coffee Gelato in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
