Blue Batik

V074-5

Blue Batik is a deep periwinkle-blue with a smoky violet base. Violet undertones make it less formal than navy. Put it on a bedroom wall, desk nook, or painted furniture when navy feels too conventional.

LRV 16 gives it real depth, so full walls need good lamps and pale trim. Cream softens the purple side. Bright white makes the blue look cleaner. Avoid orange-heavy wood if the contrast feels too loud.

Blue Batik in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
