Artisan Blue

M228

Artisan Blue is soft blue tempered by gray and a little green in the mix. It reads weathered. This shade works in bedrooms, laundry rooms, or on shiplap where a clean white feels too bare.

Its mid-light value keeps it livable, but weak bulbs can flatten the gray side. Use white trim with some warmth. Darker wood furniture gives the color enough contrast to feel finished.

Artisan Blue in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
