Glidden

Zing

PPG1203-5

Zing is a bright apricot-orange with a peachy golden base. Apricot warmth belongs on small accents. Use it sparingly unless the room is meant to feel energetic.

A powder room vanity, laundry door, or painted stool can carry it without overwhelming everything else. In sunny rooms, the orange glow will bounce onto white surfaces. Warm white and simple wood keep it usable. Cool gray nearby may push the color louder.

Zing in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
