Glidden

Stormy

PPG10-14

Against soft black, Stormy is a light blue-gray that has a soft, weathered feel. The blue stays gentle. It is calmer than the name suggests.

Bathrooms, bedrooms, and laundry rooms are natural places for it, especially with white tile or warm wood shelves. Because the value is comfortably light, it can cover full walls without closing the room in. Use nearby finishes like cream trim or brushed nickel. In warm light, the blue becomes more subdued.

Stormy in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
