Glidden

Outrigger

PPG1104-7

Outrigger is a deep golden brown with a dry, weathered undertone. It has a sturdy feel. Use it for exterior shutters, a mudroom bench, or cabinetry where a wood-toned paint makes sense.

In low light, the brown becomes heavier and less golden. Cream trim and pale counters will keep it from closing in. Avoid pairing it with orange oak unless the overlap has been tested.

Outrigger in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
