Pale Cornflower

S520-1

Pale Cornflower is a pale cornflower blue softened by gray. Let it tint a bedroom, bath, or ceiling when blue should whisper rather than shout. Because it is bright, it may look almost off-white in strong daylight.

In shadow, the blue-gray returns. Keep clear white trim and silver hardware nearby. Use it with matte black accents for a cleaner edge. Warm cream trim makes the periwinkle stronger than expected.

Pale Cornflower in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
