Tranquil Dusk

V039-3

Tranquil Dusk is a dusty rose mauve with a softened violet edge. Pink is present, not loud. It works best in rooms that already welcome warmth, such as a bedroom, powder room, or dining nook with low evening light.

Use deeper wood, aged brass, or cream fabric to keep it from feeling candy colored. On a big wall, the mauve side grows stronger, so sample larger than a small chip.

Tranquil Dusk in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
