Soothing Blue

V068-2

Soothing Blue is a pale blue built on a gentle green-gray foundation. The green-gray undertone keeps the blue from reading sugary. Use it in baths, bedrooms, or laundry spaces where a clean cool color will not fight the finishes.

White tile and chrome bring out the freshness. Warm wood stops the room from feeling sterile. On a shaded wall, the gray side may take over. Sample beside grout, since grout can change blue quickly.

Soothing Blue in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
