Valspar

Soft Silk

7004-2

Soft Silk is a very pale lavender-gray white. It feels cool and polished. Use it where a white wall needs a whisper of color, such as a bedroom, bath, or ceiling.

The violet note shows most beside cream trim and warm woods. In clean daylight, it may read as a soft cool neutral. Pair with bright white or brushed metal. Avoid yellowed cabinets unless the contrast is intentional.

Soft Silk in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
