Green Jalapeño

6005-6C

Green Jalapeño is a deep olive yellow with a browned, spicy cast. It is not clean green. Use it sparingly on a cabinet, niche, or exterior door where the color can look intentional.

LRV 21 keeps it deep, so four walls need good lamps and pale surrounding surfaces. It pairs naturally with warm plaster and dark metal. Avoid matching it to orange oak without a full-size sample.

Green Jalapeño in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
