Greek Oregano

8003-26F

Greek Oregano is a deep olive-tan, not a leafy green. The brown base grounds it. With LRV 19, it needs daylight or layered lamps if used on all four walls.

It works better on built-ins, a dining room wainscot, or exterior shutters than in a dim hallway. Brass can look rich here, but black iron keeps the color more tailored. Compare it beside flooring, since yellow oak can push it muddier.

Greek Oregano in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
