Valspar

Freckle Face

V082-5

Freckle Face is a deep terra-cotta brown with a clay red undertone. It feels earthy and substantial. LRV 16 means it will darken a room, especially with a flat finish.

It can be strong on a fireplace wall or lower cabinets. An exterior door is a good controlled dose. Pair with limestone or warm white trim for relief. Avoid tiny samples here, because the color changes a lot once it covers a broad surface.

Freckle Face in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
