Cocoa Dust

T576

Cocoa Dust is a light taupe beige with a warm, powdery brown foundation. It can soften a living room, bedroom, or hallway without leaning yellow. The color works nicely with cream upholstery and darker wood.

In cool daylight, it becomes more gray. Warm lamps bring back the beige. Keep trim warm but clean. If the floor has pink undertones, compare carefully, because taupe can echo them more than expected.

Cocoa Dust in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
