Sand Fossil

PPG1098-3

Sand Fossil is a pale sandy beige with a quiet peach-tan warmth. It is easy to live with. Hallways, guest rooms, and kitchens can take its warmth without becoming yellow cream.

Across full walls, it looks warmer beside cool counters and more neutral beside oak. Matte black accents work better than stark contrast. In homes with gray flooring throughout, check that the beige does not turn slightly pink.

Sand Fossil in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
