Wool Tweed

PPG1103-6

Wool Tweed is a golden brown ocher with a muted, fabric-like quality. It has grit. Wool Tweed can warm a study, entry, or powder room, especially when the space has black hardware or creamy millwork.

On cabinetry, satin finish will make it easier to maintain. Strong sunlight may push the yellow side forward. Pair with dark green textiles or pale limestone so the color feels intentional rather than dated.

Wool Tweed in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
