Lovely Lilac

PPG1167-4

Lovely Lilac lands as a soft blue violet with enough gray to stay calm. Try it in a bedroom where powder blue feels too expected and lavender feels too sweet. The blue side shows first.

Warm lamps pull a gentler violet note at night, especially near cream bedding. Brushed nickel, white oak, or a cool off white trim support the scheme without making it too sweet.

Lovely Lilac in Different Light

Light temperature is measured in Kelvin: a warm 2700K bulb pulls colors toward yellow, while 5000K daylight reads cooler and truer. Check the color at the time of day you actually use the room.
